Sports and Cultural Activities

Over 90% of students are dedicated to and engaged in sports and cultural activities. These range from traditional cultural pursuits like "Taiko Drum", "Japanese Archery," "Japanese Harp", and "Japanese Dancing" to modern day sports, like "Hockey", "Baseball" and "Basketball".

The Boys' Hockey team is a distinguished team in Japan, having won the national championships many times. The Japanese Archery team has been occupying a leading position in Japan as well. The Baseball team has been gaining prominence and is aiming for the National Tournaments held in Koshien Stadium both in summer and spring. The Basketball team has won the championship in Gifu Prefecture several times and has become one of the leading teams in Gifu.
